2009 coming to a close...
find a metro arrived in the app store on march 5 2009 and it took about a month of evenings to develop. Now it’s almost 2010 and I have learned a lot about iphone development.
I had picked up an iphone in February and was extremely wowed by it and having a computer in my hand that was so easy to use. I decided to try this whole app store thing out after not coding for quite a few years...
Augmented reality??
A few apps have augmented reality. I dont get it at all. Why?? I don’t understand the fascination with adding this to a metro app. Not sure why you would want this unless you want to stick out like a tourist…
1.5 uploaded to apple
I just uploaded an update to apple with some new tweaks including the ability to email a planned to trip, email comments and questions without leaving the app, open this blog without leaving the app, airport and metrorail hours information and some bug fixes and better memory management. I also got rid of those ugly blue chevron arrows in favor of classier ones.
