Wow! I cannot believe find a metro dc is five years old already. I have a new app that is in development. I may or may not incorporate it into find a metro dc. In any event it will be an independent app. It’s an idea I’ve been working on for a while.
I have uploaded an update to fix routing issues so that you can launch find a metro dc from the maps app.
The 1.12 update just went live which includes (finally…been waiting to add this) Automatic reference counting. Aka less crashes as a result of my human coding frailties.
The update also provides compatibility with the super duper tall iPhone 5 and iOS 6.
As a result of apple’s requirements, this update is compatible only with iOS 4.3 and above.
I am working on uploading 1.12 to apple which will provide iOS 6.0 and iPhone 5 support. In addition, 1.12 will likely include routing app support so that the app will launch from the newly revamped maps.app
Apple approved the 1.11 update. Now available:
July 2012 fares, rush+ map, updated circulator map, updated station names, some bug fixes.
It’s been almost 10 full days now since 1.11 was sent to Apple for approval. Hoping for review soon. That is quite slow!
Station names have been updated throughout the app.
Bus fare information has been updated.
Some other bug fixes have been added.
I will be uploading very soon.
-All fares are now updated.
Yet to do:
(1) Make sure I didn’t break anything
(2) Change names within app to match renamed stations (i.e. NoMA, Waterfront, etc.)
Likely upload early next week.
